What is music to you? What does it give you?

No attempts to sound poetic in any sense, it's my essence. It's given me the outlet to express myself creatively in a way drawing, writing short stories/novels or even poetry couldn't provide for me; be it just for the fun of it or to vent out anything inside me that I need to release. From a listener's perspective it draws me in, takes me into a euphoric space that can't be infiltrated, and revitalizes me for as long as necessary until I'm ready to face the world again.

What is your music dream?

To be a successful independent artist and ultimately leave my mark as one of the best artists, if not the best, in my genre, or even better music altogether.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

I would start my change with social interaction. There's too many cracks in the way we deal with one another as people for me to list. That would definitely be the first call to action surely though

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

The most memorable?? Too many songs come up for different reasons. Just to name one off bat it would be "Step Into A World (Rapture's Delight)" by KRS-ONE

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Rakim, KRS-ONE, Method Man, Biggie, 2pac, Xzibit, Ras Kass, C-Bo, Mac, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Twista, Lauryn Hill, Rah Digga, OutKast, Sade, Anita Baker, D'Angelo, Raheem DeVaughn, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, System Of A Down, Barry White, The Commodores, just to name a few.

What inspires you to make music?

Life experiences, and music itself. Those 2 things pretty much

What is the message you want to send with your music?

You can grow from wherever you are and make the most out of your life and the aspirations thereof without compromise to the integrity of your character or conviction

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

I feel charged by the audience, especially knowing from the beginning there's a connection between me and them. Feels like a gathering amongst family from that point

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

A lot of things are more accessible to us at this time than it was in decades past. I would love to get back to the diversity of music that we once had in Hip Hop though. Too many creative lines have been blurred over these past few years

What do you think of Drooble?

I like it. Still browsing and familiarizing myself with Drooble of course, but I love what I see so far without question.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Writer's block!!

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

Yes, I appear at shows, I buy music, for a long period of time I opened up my studio to other artists to help get more music circulating in the local scene. May network in other ways at this point, but my city knows they have Xcursion's support.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

They should have quality music, from the songwriting process to the overall recording and production of it. They also should have the drive, discipline, and dedication to continue pushing out their music and learning ways to build and market their brand.
