Donald hails from the beautiful twin Island Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, in the Caribbean. A worshiper at heart; he has been singing since the day he was born; well at least that is what the Doctor said. In 2008 he entered and became the champion of the first edition of “Making the Music Minister” in Trinidad. In 2009 he became the first gospel, male vocalist, to win, season 4 of the “Digicel Rising Stars”, now “Digicel Stars”; a national televised competition, held in Trinidad and Tobago annually. In 2010 Donald released his first hit single “Giving Back” and a few days later, the Music Video. Both video and song have done exceptionally well in the local Gospel Market. In February 2010 and again in January 2011, Donald was chosen and awarded “Top Ten Stars of Tomorrow” by the Tobago Cultural Committee for his achievements in Gospel. He was also chosen and awarded for achievements in Gospel by the National Youth Action Committee in Trinidad, November 2010. In 2011, Donald was chosen and awarded “Best New Male Vocalist of the Year” by the Trinidad and Tobago Gospel Awards. In April 2012, Donald was invited to be one of the headline acts for the Tobago Jazz Experience, “Hillside Jazz” which was a tremendous success. Today, Donald has rose the bar of his potential and released yet another hit single called “Experience” August 2017; and the Music Video January 19th 2018 to which the responses have been exceptional. Both song and video are indeed a blessing and are just a preview of what is to come. There is no doubt that greatness is ahead for this enthusiastic, inspirational, motivational, and soulful young man. He is now working on his debut album which comprises of a mixture of different but well combined genres of music which makes him stand out!
