Story

I picked up my first guitar at 3 years of age , and haven’t put it down yet ..... I’m 52 now. (Time flies when your in the flow state ) I spent 20 years as a touring audio engineer /lighting programmer. Later moved into production management. I retired due to a severe back injury on the job in 2003 ,and started performing full time ... The rest is history in the making. “Music is the most powerful force in the universe ... It is the essence of the Yin/Yang , it has ALL the powers of both God and Satan . But most of all , it ALONE has the power to CONTAIN BOTH ,or RELEASE BOTH ! It’s the underlying true power to the universe , it can create or it can destroy ... or it can remain COMPLETLY NEUTRAL ... Like any martial art IT’S ALL ABOUT YOU !!!!” Diamond Lou 3/2020

What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music is EVERYTHING !!!! The essence of the entire universe !!! Once one finds the “Flow State “ it transcends all time and space .....

What is your music dream?

To create , to play every piece with the life it deserves. To never “manage “ any music to it’s demise. To always perform free and open , flowing off the rhythmic life of each piece , feeling and expressing the emotions of the room in conjunction with the emotion of the piece. To Never play a piece the same way twice....

ALIVE !!!!!! TIMELESS !!!!!!!!!!! INFINITE !!!!!!!! FULLFILLED !!!!

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

I don’t go out much. But I always share local bands gigs and such. (They don’t EVER return the favor but that’s ok. We don’t play local that much. Besides we’d just take money out of their pockets ) we play larger rallies / and events and such. But I’m known locally . So sometimes I make an appearance.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?
