A chance to create and make something that I can look at and say "...yeah, I did that!"
I have been playing guitar since the early 90s. I was a total Roxette freak back then. I: modelled myself on Per Gessle and I dreamed that I was there on the stage at the Birmingham NEC Arena. I was playing guitar and the fans were loving it. Now, my dream is to produce music that will live on for eternity.
I would make sure that every child in the world had a chance to learn a musical instrument.
Too many to consider really. It all depends on the age. When I was really young, I was into Madonna. When I was 16, it would have been Roxette's Spending My Time.
I have already made it obvious that my favourite rock band are Roxette. I love trance though too. I relate to Gesaffelstein's music and I always check out new bands, artists and producers who I have not heard before.
One word: Excapism
Making music does not have to be about doing drugs and worshipping the devil. I find it can help to be a little drunk, but it is always important to be sober the next day to finish off what you started.
It can be fun, but I prefer to just write music.
I see that the best music comes from those who have had the toughest lives. It would be great if everyone could write great music if they had the happiest lives imaginable.
Looks like a good community and gives me the chance to meetother musicians.
Having to play something really well in order to make it sound good.
I love summer rock festivals when you can get pissed in the park late at night without someone thinking you're a weirdo!
They need to be entrepreneurial. Develop a business self, but leave it out of the studio. In the studio, you have to be completely different to anything you have heard from other producers or musicians.
