BigDaveIsFat

BigDaveIsFat is a singer, songwriter, actor, composer, certified Food Safety Manager, chef and former professional wrestler. Wrestling for the IWWC as "The Reaper." Born in Pottstown, Pa. his musical journey began at the age of three when he received a record player as a Christmas gift. After getting this gift, he began honing his skills as a performer and by the age of five, he was headlining school assemblies. His journey then led him to Philadelphia, Pa. where he quickly gained notoriety by directing the Martin Luther King High choir in a nationally televised Presidential rally for Michael Dukakis and Jesse Jackson. He was a member of The Philadelphia All-City Choir, performing at The Academy of Music. As his journey continued, he teamed up with a Disk Jockey from the Bronx named Eddie B Swift who is currently a disk jockey on BrealTv. Upon teaming up with Eddie B Swift, BigDaveIsFat was offered a recording deal with Select Records. He didn’t take their offer and continued on his journey. It was then he took a wrong path that led him to prison. Upon getting released, he moved to Reading, Pa and teamed up with Dj Ty Stix who went by the name DJ Shawn E at the time. This is when NorthSidesaBrick Records was formed. Under the guidance of his DJ, BigDaveIsFat learned the business and became a local heavyweight on the music scene. Along with his DJ, he performed every Thursday, Friday and Saturday at local bars, clubs and large gatherings for five years until he became the lead singer for Band Undercover. As the lead singer of Band Undercover and now known as The Total Package, he toured the Tri-State area performing at various events for two years. The band eventually split and soon after, BigDaveIsFat was born and he embarked on his solo career and eventually found himself performing at the How Can I Be Down music convention that was held in Jamaica. Things were going well until BigDaveIsFat would suffer an injury that would take 10 years away from his craft. After having surgery BigDaveIsFat decided to go back to school so he enrolled at Full Sail University. He would graduate earning a B.S. in Music Production & Engineering. As a result of him doing so well, he went back to school again and earned a M.S. in Entertainment Business in which he graduated Valedictorian and was the recipient of the schools highest academic honor, the Advanced Achievement Award. BigDaveIsFat resumed his journey in late 2017 and starred in a Gospel play entitled “We Can Make It,” as Pastor Fields. He has since released his debut single “He Don’t Understand” and is prepared to pick up where his hero’s Berry Gordy, Teddy Pendergrass, Jackie Wilson, Sam Cooke and Frankie Lymon left off with his business savvy, impeccable song writing and vocals that could melt any heart. Won't you join me on this musical journey.
