THE BAND HISTORY. 1993 – Present Day Lolita’s Corner first performed in the 1990s under the name blood orange in SW England. from the start they wanted to integrate female harmonies with beautiful melodies and immediate catchy music having gigged for years they broke up, years later they then came back together to record for the simple love of music. this despite the band living in different parts of the United Kingdom; however first they had to change their name, as a new york artist was around called blood orange. the music has grown immensely from the first album empty with catchy melodies and often dark lyrics, to the latest opus rozmėry, a synth driven soundscape and tribute to David Bowie. the band explore many genres from acoustic pop, synth rock, to pop punk and classic rock and love doing what the hell they want. The band are currently releasing the backlog of albums, recorded but never released and believe me, they are turning out good Albums and EPs Naked EP 1993 In Four Shades EP 1994 Bohemia 2010 Interlude in Bohemia EP 2010 Shame and Desire 2012 Phone Box 2014 Manipulator EP 2015 Adrift EP pt1 2016 (Currently being remastered) Adrift EP pt2 2016 (Currently being remastered) What About Love? 2017 (Currently being remastered) Jean’s Lunatic Slaves 2018 (Currently being remastered) Latino Sex Catastrophe 2018/9 (Currently being recorded) Lolita’s Corner 2018 is Dave g - drums/percussion/synths/keyboards Sinead - vocals Marko - guitars/keyboards/bass/vocals J Yates - keyboards/guitars/bass/vocals Paul S - bass (session musician) production and engineering by Gary Taylor - j yates -mark music by - Marko - j yates - Dave g lyrics by - Marko - j yates – Sinead MUSICIANS over the years Vocals ..........Rachel G – Little Queenie – Sinead – Jess - J Yates – Marko – Becky F – Martha Harmonies...........Becky F – Rachel G – Sinead - Jess – Martha – Fran – Mica Guitars..........Marko – J Yates – Paul S Bass..........Becky F – Jim Harvey – Rupert – Paul S – Marko – J Yates Keyboards..........J Yates – Marko – Paul S – Dave G Drums and Percussion..........Dave G -Mark Shea – Paul S Mandolin/Trombone/Slide..........Paul S Orchestration..........Paul S – Marko Engineers..........Spencer O Shea – Paul Snape – Mark Shea – Gary Taylor All songs written by Markol - J Yates - Dave G with a few band songs
