David is primarily a lyricist. He also does some of his own plugging as his own publisher. He's had some luck in the tv/film genre with songs that he has written. He's had over 250 film/tv placements. He's also had numerous cuts in the indie area as a co-writer. He's a retired teacher.

What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music is something I love. In the business I am a publisher and a songwriter/lyricist. I live near Nashville so I hear a lot of new creations. I've been lucky to be a part of some songs that have made it into the world in film/tv or a cd/itunes.

What is your music dream?

My dream is to write more songs and get them into a world that wants to listen to them.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

Peace.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

When I was very young I liked some Hank Williams and Elvis uptempo songs.

The Allman Brothers Band, Led Zeppelin, Tom Petty, Bob Dylan, Eagles, Creedence, Chris Stapleton, Garth Brooks, Driveby Truckers, Miranda Lambert

What inspires you to make music?

Music inspires music. The universe wants us to sing along.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

As a songwriter I try to write for artists, but love is a constant something that I write about.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

I enjoy it though usually I only do that at church.
