The Trinidad & Tobago Baltimore Steel Orchestra has been entertaining the world performing authentic Caribbean steel drum music for almost half a century. Founded in Baltimore in 1971, the orchestra, comprised of musicians born in the birthplace of the steel pan, Trinidad and Tobago, was proclaimed in 1977 by the then mayor of Baltimore as "Baltimore's official steel drum band." Through the years, the orchestra has performed over 6,000 times and for over a quarter million happy listeners.
