I've played thousands of gigs as a singer/guitarist in more bands and clubs than I can remember. In 2010 I finally recorded my first self titled solo album. In 2013 I recorded my second album "Not Afraid To Bleed". Currently writing a third album. My influences are extremely eclectic so most songs have rock and funk at their heart but you can easily find flavors of reggae, country, blues, prog, jazz and whatever else I was listening to the week I recorded, lol.

Hard to get noticed even if you are talented because you are a needle in a haystack.

Self promotion

Yes. I go out to live gigs of other great musicians and buy their music. I share and promote to let everyone know of cool new artists I hear.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Authenticity, relentlessness.
