Hootin' Blues from Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee.

Captain Beefheart, Little Feat, Bill Frisell, Django Reinhardt and on.

What inspires you to make music?

Life.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

Bored - they normally get in the way of the music.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

Same as it ever was - if you are a muzo then you make music no matter what.

What do you think of Drooble?

Seems excellent so far.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Not being as good as I would like to be.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

I've put on a few festivals in the past (L'Esprit Manouche - dedicated to the gypsy jazz genre epitomised by the alien being Django Reinhardt).

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Internet knowledge to be able to promote what they have produced cheaply and efficiently.
