I'm country but not your backroads, front porch, lemonade drinking country. I'm more of the cabin at the campground, sitting on the roof with a bottle of tequila country. Modern but not too modern. I'm a songwriter and performer. I love playing hundreds of shows a year, traveling the world and sometimes just staying in my region. No matter what day of the week, I'm playing music. Music is my high, except on Sundays.

Already doing it! Playing live shows, traveling the world and making music!

What inspires you to make music?

Life experiences and waking up every day

What is the message you want to send with your music?

That country music can be cool, rad, badass, amazing and freaking awesome! Have fun with your music and think outside the box.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

Love it! I have performed shows for 5 people and 45,000 people. Each one is amazing! You never know who is watching.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

Come back down to planet earth. Drop the over eccentric egos!

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Having to rely on others to do their part. I just need to clone 4 of me. Hurry up!

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

I try my best but playing 250 shows a year kind of gets tough. When I have the opportunity I will check out some acts and venues.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

1st class production, lots of practice and being personable. Don't be a germ.
