What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music is one of the highest forms of self expression. It is creating something new that moves people in many ways, stirs their inner being, opens new worlds and sonic landscapes to visit. It is escapist in many ways but is able to shape the reality that conceives it. It gives us great pleasure to create and perform it.

What is your music dream?

To reach as many humans as possible with our music and for them to enjoy it. To create a handful of songs and albums that are creatively significant and that simultaneously push the envelope of rock music.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

We as a band hate hatred. The world could do without it, sadly it is always a challenge that must be dealt with. Music helps, since people of all ethnicities, religion, age, gender and race are able to experience it and be moved by it. Obviously less poverty and more environmental consciousness are also critical.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

There are a couple but I think Run Like Hell from Pink Floyd was one of those songs that got me thinking of how music can transport to somewhere else.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

The Doors Pink Floyd Rolling Stones Supertramp Rush The Beatles David Bowie INXS U2 Bauhaus Queen Depeche Mode The Cure Metallica The Killing Joke Blondie Echo and the Bunnymen

What inspires you to make music?

Many things, it's hard to select one particular something. It can be a poem that you read, a science fiction movie, a situation, politics, admiration for someone, the desire to just experiment with sound and/or lyrics and see what happens.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

Many, but one is that music transcends borders.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

Excited and energized by the feedback we receive from it.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

It is better and worse than before. Better in that new and aspiring artists have a greater chance to be heard because of technology social platforms, services etc. Means for professional recording have also become more readily available and are evolving at this very moment. Worse because it is so competitive and major labels have become so narrow minded and formulaic. Artists and their music have also become very vapid in an era of short attention span. It appears that nothing really makes a big impact.

What do you think of Drooble?

We have yet to try it out. But it seems like an interesting and promising platform.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Marketing music can be daunting and keeping regularly with Instagram and other social networks is difficult.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

Somewhat, by attending gigs and events mostly.
