Hey, I'm Dan from London. I've been writing songs and playing in bands since the late '90s. Lately I've been mostly recording at home, and I try to collaborate with other musicians online as much as I can. Fading Dream Of A Motel is my current project... it's a collaboration with my friend (and great singer) Mella. We started this 3 years ago but never fully finished that many of the songs, but I've finally started to roll them out the door. And we're still recording as much as time/money allows, so some of these will be new songs, some older. It's a kinda fuzzed-out dream pop/shoegaze sound. I like telling stories in the songs, combined with washes of noisy guitar, warm but weird synths and soaring harmonies. Hope you dig.
Music is everything... well, most things. Family, friends and movies are the other things.
To still be playing music and going to shows when I'm 105.
The environment. What else?
Eye of the Tiger
Talking Heads, Dinosaur Jr, Yo La Tengo, Bruce Springsteen, Sharon Van Etten, Pavement, Laura Marling, Slayer, Slowdive, Neil Young, Sonic Youth

Life is way to short
Glad and amazed that anyone has come to watch me/us
It's never been easier to make music that sounds great. it's never been harder to get anyone to listen. But I prefer this to the other way round.
It's awesome. Cool people, cool music.
Getting my mixes to sound as good as I want them to.
I try to see as many local shows as I can.
Time to network. Playing music is only half the job these days, maybe less.
