music is my escape mechanism.
Once I learned that my destiny would be someone else's tool to manipulate the direction of my career as they saw fit my dream to be a mainstream star died. It was reformed into becoming an independent music maker and performer.

For me there are many. If you make me choose just one though I would have to go with Chuck Mangione Feels So Good. The melody he plays in that number is beautiful to me. I've been a sucker for beautiful melodies ever since.
My parents were flower children, I grew up listening to all the greats. So that list is very very long. My musical tastes have evolved over time as well, so that list just kept getting longer and longer. from Zepp to Kiss to Aerosmith and everything in between. Rock, Funk, Blues, R&B, Metal, Electronic...
Musicians! Great music inspires me to make music in hopes that I too create some great music in my lifetime.

Talk about a loaded question.... I'm glad I can't see everything from everyone's perspective. There is wonderful diversity in music because of so many different perspectives, why change it?
I think it's a good place for aspiring artists to hear others like myself. Interact and even develop life long relationships that could eventually evolve into something much bigger.

Well the cornholiovirus made it much more difficult, but I attend shows and help promote local acts.
