What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music is my true passion in life. Music gives me joy, satisfaction. and a true sense of accomplishment!!

What is your music dream?

My music Dream would be to one day have my songs heard by many people throughout the world and for my music to truly be appreciated!!!

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

I would really like to see more peace and harmony with each other in society. Want to see more people being friendlier and kinder to each other!!!

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

Don't Close Your Eyes by Keith Whitely!

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Don Williams, Zac Brown Band, Alan Jackson, George Strait, Vern Gosdin. As you can see here I am a Big Fan of Country Music!! It's what I grew up on!!!

What inspires you to make music?

I am inspired by traditionalism in music, not too much for the modern country pop feel to country music!! I want my songs to inspire more love, peace, and harmony in each other and I pray that my songs convey that!! My music is about realism and tradition. Not into the modern day fads that are being introduced into music. To me, music has to have true meaning and heart!! I want to feel the song, so to speak!!

What is the message you want to send with your music?

I want my music to have heart, soul, and true meaning to it!! When I write a song it is a message being conveyed to me through my heart and soul!!

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

I have played a few times in front of an audience and the feeling of empowerment comes over me when I play and sing!! I also feel a sense of pride because God has allowed me to posess in some small way, this Great Gift to play, sing, and write songs!!!

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

Musicians nowadays are not into their craft for the purposes of giving true meaning and feeling to their fans. Their big interest is on how much money they can make from the music business. A good bit of the newer musicians aren't true songwriters. Their music is being written by someone other than them and that is truly sad!! The improvements should lie in better songs, getting back more towards the traditional roots of true and meaningful songs!!

What do you think of Drooble?

Drooble is a Great platform although I must say that the platform is somewhat elitist by using this karma point system because some musicians cannot get in on the dream of posting their music on here! I have conversed with a bunch of musicians who have gone to bandlab because they are allowed to post their music on that platform for Free!! No karma points there!!!

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Major frustration is that small time songwriters and singers never get a fair shake in the music scene. It's all about who you know and how much money you have!!!

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

Yes I do!! I attend local venues and listen to local artists all the time!!!

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Musicians of today need to have honesty, humbleness, and show true pride in their work!! Like my grandfather always told me growing up, don't ever forget where you come from in life!!!!

Share some awesome artists that we’ve never heard of.

Bill Farr, Nick Robb, Jennifer Wren, Dale A Schexnayder lol!! You have never heard of any of us, but we are artists all the same who enjoy writing and singing music. We may never be famous but we all enjoy our craft and creating our own unique Music!!!
