Richard Alan Krieger "Crane" was the lead singer/bassist/writer of the L.A. rock band Tragicomedy in the 1980's. The group recorded the album "Homage to Nada" on New Alliance/SST Records. He played trumpet and sang back-up vocals with the iconic eclectic L.A. rock band the Minutemen who opened for R.E.M. in 1985. He also played bass with Richard Derrick on guitar in a progressive rock band called Another Umbrella. Crane (bass) and Derrick (drums) sometimes jammed with D. Boon from the Minutemen in a group called Cosmic Joke. He is a multi-instrumentalist whose focus is on songwriting. Homepage https://www.richardalankrieger.com
