Music has been a calling for me since I was 14 yo. I have been in about 30 bands over the years, played thousands of gigs, jammed with some famous and incredible players, played before crowds as big as 20,000 people. I've been in bands that have opened for around 30 nationally famous acts and have paid my share of dues, as have we all. Most of the friends I have made in music over the years are still close friends today. When I play I can feel the energy of the crowd and the way it touches people on levels that nothing else can. I will always be a musician - they'll have to pry my Dan Armstrong bass out of my cold, dead hands. Aw, hell, just bury it with me.
