My name is Deandre Gopher and I am Core Boy. I've always had a very strong passion for music, all kinds of music, for as long as I can remember. I was always exposed to music with people around me always dancing, singing, and playing instruments. I grew up around a lot of Rock, Metal Rap, Hip Hop, Pop, always pretending I was a Rockstar playing air-guitar on the bed. But then one day everything changed when my father had put on Sandstorm by Darude and I LOVED it. I had never heard electronic music like that before and so I had that song on repeat for weeks. Then some time passes and I have this new love for electronic music, listening to artists like Skrillex, Deadmou5, Diplo, Bassnectar, and all kinds of other electronic artists. Then one day I decided that I wanted to start making my own music and Core Boy was born. I got my first laptop, download my first DAW, and started creating my first tracks.
Music gives me freedom and acts as an escape from my troubles.
I want to be able to make good music for people to enjoy and to grow as a musician.
