Hi my name is conor mcgowan im a chef by trade but have been playing music since I was a kid, I'm 47 years old and have only in the last two years built my own home studio and can now after soo many years of writing songs "in my head" I can now make them come alive. I have 3 amazing kids all boys and the last 4 years my marriage broke down and I left my family home which was out of my control, it was the hardest four years of my life, I became very depressed and I dropped out of society and lost faith in people. My music brought me back and now I write songs about my experience and it has helped me through a very bad part of my life. My 3 boys help me and critique my songs before I put them out which is soo much fun to do with them. I hope you enjoy my songs love and respect conor mcgowan
Music to me is a way of expression, you can channel a lot of emotion be it happy or sad through music and by listening to music can bring you on a wonderful journey
my music dream is to have my songs played to the world
greed.......its what destroys us as human beings
the most memorable song as a child I would say is Chris de Burgh's "spanish train" my dad bought us a new sterio for christmas and spanish train was one of the first albums we got on vinyl and that song I played over and over it just fascinated me
billy joel, elton john, for piano U2, depeche mode, I know danny from the script so I do like their music.
feelings within me, emotions
love............joy
joy and excitement
I think its the hardest industry to break today but depending on streams today can be hard to earn as the big streaming company's don't give back enough to the artist
really well designed site great for exposure
not having the time to play and perform as life's demands and pressures take over
yes I like to follow and comment on other musicians work its critical for the artist to share for share and to support each other
they need to be unique but be original and follow there heart not the trend.
