What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music is a pretty magical thing. It can transport you back to a time and place in your youth. It can change your mood. It can be a creative outlet. Music will always be there for you when people are not.

What is your music dream?

Is it too much to say, "Headline Madison Square Garden and Budokan."?

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

I would love to see more kindness to animals and for people to take more care of each other.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

KISS - Deuce (from the Winterland bootleg). It's a raw performance from the early days of KISS. It's energetic, entertaining, and gritty.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

KISS, Zakk Wylde/Black Label Society, Iron Maiden, B B King

What inspires you to make music?

Inspiration comes from anywhere and everywhere. I tend to write about things that come from personal experiences. I've written songs about love, family, walks on the beach, growing up in the 80s, and even a television show that I found intriguing. When inspiration hits, I write new music.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

I would just like to write songs that people enjoy listening to at any point in their day. They can take away whatever meaning they hear in the song.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

Performing in front of a live crowd is an amazing feeling. To see all of those people who are there to hear you play can be very humbling and a major thrill at the same time.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

With all of the available technology and shorter attention spans, musicians have to work much harder now than ever to gain and maintain a following. It would be nice if people could put down their phones long enough to live in the moment.

What do you think of Drooble?

Drooble is a fantastic resource for musicians. It's an amazing way to network, promote music, check out other musicians, and see how well you can do on the charts.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

iPads.... 'nuff said.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

I go out to local venues to support my fellow musicians and the venue itself. If we don't support each other, who will?

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Talent, charisma, dedication/determination, and the less popular, business acumen. After all, it's the music BUSINESS.

Share some awesome artists that we’ve never heard of.

DOVE OF WAR, Jay Northrop, Joshua Barrett, Emily Guemple, Cody Browning.
