What is music to you? What does it give you?

A way of expressing my dark thoughts and the macabre things in my head.

What is your music dream?

To be able to share my creations with others in whatever format is available. Not trying to move anyone with my music and if you can relate to my macabre style of song writing then so be it.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

Reducing the carbon footprint we are leaving on a dying planet overwhelmed with an absurd amount of people. Hate to say it, but we need a drastic population reduction. I welcome the plagues, viruses, and anything else the universe feels is necessary to heal the only known planet to house intelligent life.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

I’m going to skip to my teenage years because anything before that music wise is pretty embarrassing. In my teenage years in the early 90s, I’d say a handful of the music from the Seattle Grunge bands and Alternative Songwriters such as Pearl Jam, Soungarden, Beck and more.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Beck, Bob Dylan, Black Sabbath, Tom Petty, Pearl Jam, Johnny Cash, Primus.

What inspires you to make music?

Death, Loss, Hardships, Dreams, Evil, Terror, Horror, Love

What is the message you want to send with your music?

Death is everywhere and a normal part of our existence

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

Haven’t performed in a few years, but I feel in my own world.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

Less image and more creativity.

What do you think of Drooble?

That’s to be determined in full at a later time, but for now I’d say its ease of use is impressive.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Losing guitar picks or breaking a nail. I love to hybrid pick and chipping a nail on my picking hand infuriates me.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

Not at the moment. Have no interest in going to a bar to watch idiots get hammered while listening to a cover band playing top 40 garbage.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Creativity and talent, less of an image that drives the audience. Too much music is heavily based on a particular image.

Share some awesome artists that we’ve never heard of.

Well…you’ve most likely not heard of me so I’d say have a listen to Coffin Tale Ace!
