Well, music is in my blood. It's about as simple as that. Started with a toy drum kit at the age of 2 or 3 and then a toy guitar with a toy microphone. Now I own at least 10 guitars including a bass and a double neck guitar. I tried out for NBC's The Voice in February of 2016 but was unsuccessful in making it through to the next rounds. I have played for many different crowds from school events, assisted living homes, parties, large events, talent shows, etc.
Music gives me relief from my anxiety and depression issues. It allows me to step outside of my less-than-perfect mind and think about the positivity that this life has blessed me with. I have a great family and a good life, what more could a guy want?
To one day, either become a successful recording/touring solo artist or become the lead guitarist in a rock band. Either one I would be psyched about.
I would start with a song that could open the eyes of those who are going through whatever struggle they're going through and no that life will never be perfect, but it is up to them to make it as best as they can.
Probably the classic Kenny Chesney song, "When the Sun Goes Down".
There are so many to name. Lately, I've been really into Queen and the Beatles. But I've always been a big fan of Metallica, Megadeth, Pantera, Guns N Roses, Nirvana, Johnny Cash, Josh Turner, Scotty McCreery, Alan Jackson, etc.
My life and the hectic things that go on within it.
At home. That's the best answer I can give.
Me perhaps? Hahaha, I'm a little over-confident but whatever lol. There is this amazing band that plays all around Vermont called Shake The Band, partly formed of guys I went to high school with. They're simply amazing and I would highly recommend looking them up right now.
