I am a songwriter from California, living in Iowa. I write in several genres including pop, country, sacred, and Americana. I have released several singles and an album of 15 pop and country songs about relationships entitled "In My Heart." Singles include the country song "I Don't Want to Work Today." the Americana Folk song "America I Miss You," the Halloween song "Spiderwebs in my Hair!." and the Christian Contemporary duet "The Lord is My Shepherd."

What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music is so cool - it can pick me up, make me sing, make me cry, calm me, transport me to another dimension. Some of my best memories in my life surround music.

What is your music dream?

I dreamed for years of being a songwriter, and now I have written dozens of songs with more to come. I dream that others will enjoy the music as much as I do!

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

Love. All you need is love. Every problem in the world stems from people and nations putting self-interest over the needs, desires, freedoms, and rights of others, and of the environment.

People, emotions, relationships, life decisions, insight into life

What is the message you want to send with your music?

You are not alone. Other people feel the way you do, have experienced similar things. Life is all about learning, not getting it right the first time. Be open to love.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

There is so much talent, yet getting heard is hard.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Be themselves. Be real.
