Music is like air its something we need crave unknowingly and its the only real magic left in this world. Musics a Time machine a open view into a hearts perspective an invitation that allows us all to know we arent alone.
Well Ive successfully gone further then I thought so to continually further my own growth and success while enjoying the creative factors with anyone I get to share the moment with
Fossil fuels and illness along with homelessness and hunger I feel are really the major key issues we have as the human race
Nirvana Sappy.... still my favorite song........but so many others flood my mind from different times
Nirvana is and was the biggest influence on me, they came out in a time in my life when I needed that coping and I completely messed with what Cobain was about and saying. Others would be Led Zepplin, Black Sabbath, KISS, The Stoogies, Prince, Soundgarden, Alice n Chains, TAD, the Melvins, Mudhoney, Jimi Hendrix, these are all major influences in what I write and how I play, and there are many others but these bands have been with me from almost the very start of my passion for this career
Honestly first it was a kid wanting attention from the opposite sex to feel wanted and adored, which later became a indescribable passion to just create and share a connection with anyone who would listen.
We all have issues we are all here for a short time and we take that for granted Id love to see the industry pull back together as a whole like the 90s and prior. To show the world we as a people need music and need eachother. That everyone has a influence in the Today
I feel at home with a Guitar strapped to my body and a mic in my face, the crowd is my family if only for that night and as they react it feeds me and drives me to perform , I loose myself in the moment abd absorb the atmosphere created by the souls that are together to make that moment magical
We all need to stop allowing others to control our art out put and realize this isnt a competition but a family of creative souls
Its a rad idea and love that its a fb style for musicians
The business of it. I remember when I chose this road or path persay how naive I was about what waa coming with what at that teenagers mind thought could only be the best job in the world to be paid to emotionally loose yourself and have fun ...... sometimes reality bites and the undershadow of a thing so beautiful can ruin that if not carefully obtained and learned. Luckly I just really care about music. Its been the one factor in my life that has always been, never left, and other then God I could count on.
Absofuckenlutely, its important we all know whats going on at home remember where we came from and realize we can be right back to being a garage band even if we reach the green light spotlights of fame. We all started as a local. So yes support the shit out of the home scenes. Remember that was is and can be you in a blink of an eye
Thats something we all struggle with ans I dont believe has a correct answer. The best thing is to be genuine humble and support as many others as you can in hopes they too might do the same for you. Ive watched it change so much and not for the better in many ways. I guess I dont have a good answer for this one
