I have an aggressive/melodic playing style that is heavily influenced by classical music. I have studied music/composition, and have been actively composing for 20 years. I primarily play guitar. I compose in a variety of different genres, but my current favorite genre to write is metal
It is everything, really. It is an escape, a tool for expression, and a way to connect with others. It's a means of understanding the world around me.
It would be cool to make a livable income by writing music. For now, I'm just writing music, and sharing it with whoever wants to hear it, so we'll see what happens!
I want to see more creativity and love in the world.
The melody that plays every time the crocodile shows up in Disney's Peter Pan

Just the way I feel or things I see around me or imagine in my head.
I want it to touch people as deeply as it touches me. I put a great deal of thought and honest feeling into my work, and make sure to always play from the heart
Excited, happy, and sort of like I'm in a movie lol
Well, people are more focused on single songs rather than albums, as far as buying music goes, but basically it's the same as ever, write the best you can, practice your instrument so you can play your parts well, and gig your ass off until you earn a reputation
I enjoy it a lot. Everyone on here is really kind and respectful, and the conversations are entertaining, helpful, and well informed
When people have the best, top notch gear but don't know how to play
I do. I try to check out/jam with as many people as I can. There is so much cool stuff going on out there. I try to check out as many shows as I can, and shake their hands and tell them how awesome it was to hear their work
The willingness to put time into it and push your ideas further than you initially thought possible, don't play something that sounds "safe" because it sounds like everything else, do something weird and completely original! Experiment constantly, and people will appreciate how refreshing it is
I'm not sure who you've heard of or haven't heard of so it's hard to say
