Just a guy that makes music. I’m interested in modern instrumental type genres like electronic, jazz, post-rock, ambient, and noise. I have the occasional weakness for more experimental types of folk or acoustic rock, and always enjoy hearing some classical flamenco guitar. My main tool of choice is Native Instruments “Machine”. Otherwise I will be playing guitar.
A soundtrack to whatever I’m doing at the time. It can make or break a moment, and sometimes it can triggers memories of specific times, activities, and places.
I have no musical dreams.
whatever helps the most people.
U2 - “I still haven’t found what I’m looking for”. it was the first song I ever really heard when my brother and I found our parents cassettes around age 5.
Tycho, Do Make Say Think, Led Zeppelin, Gold Panda, Radiohead.
Travel, Boredom, Weed.
Music doesn’t need vocals to be enjoyable.
Indifferent.
Strange and Difficult. It’s all been done, and touring is super competitive.
A music social network is good idea, the world needed a new type of music app. The only downside is that many musicians are very self deprecating and insecure, which leaves the main feed looking more like a message board for depressed songwriters seeking pity or fishing for compliments..
The time commitment.
Small town, not much of a scene
A catchy song, and expert social media marketing skills. Confidence helps, nobody likes a whiner. Sing about sex and drugs, everybody loves those things ;)
Gold Panda.
