Having his own, private home studio allows the artist known as C. Kennett Baker to devote his time to create music of many different styles. His flexibility has enabled him to collaborate with various artists that specialize in other musical genres. The real man behind the music is a multifaceted, genuinely talented man decorating his world with sound; thankfully, he shares his gift with others, so they too may appreciate the musical world he continually creates.
Music, for me, is therapy. It allows me to work out the thoughts that I have difficulty giving voice to.
I think -- as in most cases -- musicians just want to be heard. That's been my passion all along, and am pleased to announce that I've achieved that dream.
Tough question, and I don't think I could really answer it. I mean, the World is so chaotic these days, and it would take a miracle of epic proportions to get us back on track.
Anything from the Beatles. They were what got me interested in being a songwriter and musician.
Well, the Beatles, for one. I like Danny Elfman, Apocalyptica, Type-O Negative, Bela Fleck... a lot of them.
Life, good or bad, has always been the driving force behind my music.
The message, I think, that's most prevalent in my music is that we're all in this together. Sometimes, when we're in the dark places, we feel isolated. Alone. But with over 7 billion people in the World, there has to be others who are going through the same thing. That helps.
There are no words. It's that cool!
I have issues with my own reality sometimes, so I don't think I'm qualified to answer the question. LoL!
Two thumbs up.
It's tough, knowing that there are extremely talented individuals out there trying so hard to realize their dream. Then you see somebody on "America's Got Talent" or "The Voice" who just dabble a bit with music, and end up with a million dollar prize and a label contract. Petty? Sure it is. But when it comes to me being a fan of the winner of some television show or the guy on the street corner with just a guitar and a cap full of tips... well... I'm for the guy on the corner.
Sure do! Going to clubs and community events are a great way to check out the local entertainment.
Always... ALWAYS be grateful to your fan base. Never take them for granted. And be relentless. Every day you have to work at it. Whether it's sites like Drooble, Facebook, Twitter... whatever... you have to keep pushing your material. You can either be your own worst enemy, or your best promoter.
