Hi my name is Dj Bubbles the C.E.O. for Island Beats Radio in Toronto Canada. I have been a disc jockey since 2006 when I got my first gig on Jah Myspace Radio. Since then I have traveled many path's in the music industry and I love every moment of my passion for music. I do mixes, I have my online stream where I specialize in different genres but mainly conscious, roots, and lovers rock reggae and of course my island style gospel. Music is the heart beat to life.

To continue to spread good clean and conscious reggae and see reggae music played on main stream on a daily basis.

What inspires you to make music?

I am inspired by the love I have in my heart.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

To love God and each other.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

I am not a performer am a disc jockey but when I play I feel special.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

They can cut out the slack nasty messages.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

The cut throat ways of those in the business.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

Yes I do. I try to connect with local venues.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

They should have inner strength and know they will face obstacles but have the ambition to keep going.
