Bruce Christopher Wells, known as NotebookOHE, was born on November 21, 1988, in Bessemer, Alabama. His love for music came at an early age. His father, Bruce Calvin Wells, was well known DJ in the city of Bessemer prior to his passing in 2017. As a child, his father took him to local Record Stores where he was able to listen to all types of music. His mother, Lillie Frances McQueen, was also known for her love for music. As a child, Bruce remembers waking up to his mother playing RNB in their household. At age 10, Bruce realized he wanted to pursue music. He wanted to learn how music was created, and transitioned to him becoming a Songwriter, Producer, and Engineer. To further enhance his craft, he attended the LA Film School in Hollywood, California, where he graduated in May of 2020 with an Associate’s Degree in Music Production. Outside of music, Bruce continues to enjoy spending time with his family and friends. His main focus and goal, is become a mentor and role model for upcoming artists and pave the way for other artists in the city of Bessemer.
