What is music to you? What does it give you?

I imagine every moment having a soundtrack behind it. Music lets me realize that vision into tangible form. Sometimes that music becomes the actual soundtrack behind new real moments. And that music empowers those moments. Music transforms.

What is your music dream?

My music dream is to make a living doing what I love to do and empower others to do the same.

I'd remove taxes from the entire planet.

Eurythmics - Sweet Dreams

What is the message you want to send with your music?

Everyone has a journey and everyone's journey is different. Stay on your own personal journey against all odds.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

It's invigorating.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

Artists should be able to make a living making art— not just musicians, but including musicians. Music and art is such an included part of life. It's literally everywhere. The human species wants music and art, all the time.

What do you think of Drooble?

I'm optimistic.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

As a musician, it frustrates me that honing a craft takes years of work and focus and then starting a business in music takes years of perseverance, and then after it all— you're lucky if you spend your life a grueling artist. Even celebrity musicians work almost every day, sometimes all day and night. But it's a passion so it's normalized. Another thing is that people expect artists to be like gods and not human with real life things going on.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

I like to attend live performances locally and I like to be that person that actually pays for some music or merch. It feels so good to make a sale or get some downloads. I like to give other artists that feeling whenever I can. It's inspiring.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

I don't remember who told me this but it's that you have to be bad or great, but you can't just be good- because good is boring. So I guess the answer is you have to be captivating.

Share some awesome artists that we’ve never heard of.

Richie Valley is an incredible under-rated rapper who just needs a shot with an amazing producer.
