What is music to you? What does it give you?

"Music is probably the only real magic I have encountered in my life. There's not some trick involved with it. It's pure and it's real. It moves, it heals, it communicates and does all these incredible things."— Tom Petty

What is your music dream?

My music dream is to perform and record regularly, creating a strong community and making a stable living. It involves travel, collaboration, and creating new music on the daily.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

I would end homelessness and injustice for communities of color.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

I was a bit of a Disney fanatic so "Part of Your World" from the Little Mermaid. That, and "Three Days" by Jane's Addiction.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Tegan and Sara, Milk Carton Kids, Alexander Wolfe, Ani DiFranco, Phoebe Bridgers, Joni Mitchell, Sarah MacLachlan... so many!

What inspires you to make music?

Music is truth, and the only true universal language. It has the potential to heal, and brings peace and understanding. I can't not make music.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

Get creative and use music to heal

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

I love performing in front of an audience. Connecting with people is my favorite activity. Connecting through music is the best way!
