The alternative rock band Bre-L was formed in 2014 by lead singer, Breanna Lynn out of the living room of her family's Burbank home. With members Nate Lichtenberger (drums), R.E.L. (electric guitar), and Sonny Kennelly (bass), they recorded and released their nine song debut album, 'I Think About You' on all streaming platforms. Almost immediately, their cover of Grime's song 'Oblivion' was added to Spotify's 'Discover Weekly' playlist, and shot to almost 2 million streams. After the success of their first album, the members decided to go their separate ways to pursue other endeavors. Lead singer Breanna Lynn attended university, R.E.L. started a family and pursued a solo career, and Nate and Sonny continued their work in multiple bands. After a six year hiatus, Breanna Lynn reformed Bre-L to continue the work the band began. Preparing for their next album which shows the bands evolution from Alternative Rock to Indie-Soul/Pop-Funk, Bre-L's sound has matured drastically into something all it's own.
Music is the only thing that has kept me sane in times of hardship. It's the only way I can express myself when I can't find the words to say. Music is my escape, while simultaneously acting as my life force. I don't know who I'd be without it, and I don't even want to try imagining what I would do without it in my life.
My music dream is to look out into a sea of people from a stage, and stand there in awe as their deafening voices sing my songs back to me.
Honestly, I would start with homeless epidemic that is ravaging Los Angeles. If I could change anything, it would be to provide adequate mental health care and rehabilitation for the forgotten people on the streets.

I can't NOT make music. I've tried and my life was miserable without it. I make music because I have to.
