Story

Hello. I am a musician, songwriter, lyricist in Birmingham, Alabama. I have several projects of which two of my favorites are Alamantra (Indie, Psychedelic/Classic flavored rock) and The Other Day (Latin Jazz, Retro Pop). I am currently in the process of starting a new project (details to come later in 2020). I own a small recording studio/Digital Performance Center in Birmingham. Thank you for reading.

What inspires you to make music?

Love.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

That our time here is all too brief and we need to make the most of it and cultivate awareness for the life around us.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

Like I am where I belong.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

I'm not going to speak for all musicians. I am happy that technology has made it possible to so things on my own.

What do you think of Drooble?

Just getting to know it, so no real opinion yet, but it has made a good first impression.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Other musicians ...the ones who don't show up on time, don't have what they need, have big egos etc.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

Yes. I go to shows and follow the bands around here that I like.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Get people skills, and some PR ability.
