Music to me is the essence of life. It is a universal language to all living things. It gives me comfort, peace, joy, love, and well being. Music soothes the soul.
My music dream would be to have one of my original songs recorded by a known artist and hear it played on the air.
I'd start with the United States where I live which is in deep turmoil right now. There is chaos everywhere, but most importantly is the slaughter of innocent school children who are being slaughtered because of the rampant use of guns in this country. This was unheard of when I was a child attending school. The most trouble we faced was getting caught with pea shooters! :-/
Most memorable song is " You Are My Sunshine." My Grandmom used to sing it to me while sitting on her knee. It actually brought me to tears, and still does to this very day.
That one's easy, The Beatles. They influenced me the first time I heard them and I have been playing music and singing ever since.
There are plenty of inspirations to make music, past experiences, future dreams, emotions, lost or gained love, world events, etc. The list goes on.
That question is too vague. I believe the message changes as you grow in your music.
I feel exhilarated, happy, in my element.
Each musician is different based on their own lives. Not sure how that could be improved.

Dry spells where I can't seem to come up with fresh ideas. That and having a hard time playing guitar due to arthritis in my hands.
I often go to see friends bands perform at local venues.
They have to have ear catching material first of all, and be extremely persistent and believe in themselves.
No way of knowing who someone has heard of, but artists previously unknown to me are, The Saw Doctors, Ed Sheeran, The Weeklings.
