Learned to play the guitar about 40 years ago, put it down fo 20 years, picked it up again for a couple of years, put it back down. Started a band of members of a 501c3 organization, Guardians Of The Children,to help raise money for abused children in 2013 of which we form in 2008 and then I was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2014. Removed right lung and went thru chemo, music was my escape & have played almost every day since. Started learning the Bass about 6 months ago, Guitar is mostly rhythm, both acoustic and electric. By the way I am a Cancer survivor, after 4 CAT Scans I am clean and Cancer free! Prefer classic rock and some country, done just for pleasure and all the money we have raised doing a dozen or so gigs goes to help the abused kids. Most of the members are about the same age 50's - 60's. We don't get to jam as much as I like as everyone has full time jobs and helping the abused kids. Looking forward to improving in both the guitar and bass.
