What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music saves lives, like it did mine. Sometimes we all need the right melody with the right lyric to lift us up from our darkest and most vulnerable moments

What is your music dream?

Mine is a simple one: To show the world that even someone with a lisp can be an amazing vocalist. I want to inspire people like myself who have speech problems.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

One of the biggest questions for self-discovery is "If money was no object, what would you want to do with your life?" I find that just about all our problems come from stressing over finances. Historically, it's mostly been rich people, or artists getting lucky with with some ruling elite or executives. They control masses of people, and their driving tool for doing so is in getting people to value pieces of paper, rock, and metal over anything else. The one thing that I would really want to change about the world is to get rid of the whole concept of money, and push global society into a direction of mutual respect and care for one another.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

Simple Plan - Me Against The World

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

In particular, Rob Scallon, Boyinaband, RoomieOfficial, and Andrew Huang. There's also Crush 40, my fave band of all time, as well as a couple of other YouTube musicians.

What inspires you to make music?

Mostly other musicians... There's also the complexity behind melodies and effects and I love to experiment with new sounds. Also, I'm a math and programming person, and synthesis kinda puts my three favorite things together.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

Right now, I just have want to tell my story to the world. Just gotta finish the lyrics first.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

Last I've done that was about two years ago, and last time I was in the center was in karaoke back in high school. Both times I remember feeling very anxious in the start, and slowly growing into the mood. It's anxiety inducing, but definitely worth it.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

Despite how things look, especially on the mainstream, people like me actually have a better chance than ever with the open source community growing day by day. The growth of Mastodon without any advertising both proves this, as well as contributes to it.

What do you think of Drooble?

I'm not quite sure. It's been a while, and I'm just getting started

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Plenty of ideas, not a lot of time and resources

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

Sadly the punk scene is pretty much nonexistent in Wylie, but if I could support any local punk bands, I'd definitely buy physical media and spread the word!

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Connections. Spamming your SoundCloud or YouTube gets you nowhere, you have to go out in the world and meet people. Most successful musicians had a connection with someone in the industry.

Share some awesome artists that we’ve never heard of.

Renegade. You're much more likely to have heard about the lead guitarist Kai Ross-Best but even that is unlikely
