I am basil 24 years old from Cairo Egypt. currently living in Rotterdam. I am looking forward to collaborate with fellow musicians , as a guitarist or a producer or both. I am currently working on an album but i still struggle with finding band members that are dedicated to making music.
music is the ultimate abstraction of our reality. music is basically my tool of expression and the realm of chaos and endless potential, it gives me a home.
My dream is to share my music with the world and work with other musicians that are passionate about their art. I wish toi make a living of selling my music and playing gigs.
erase hate , egoism for starters. and then i would love change the consumer mentality especially when it comes to music. I would love to see a world where musicians are taken more seriously so that they have the financial comfort to create more art.

Reflecting on reality i guess, but then again there not only one message i want to send. there are several themes like getting to know your demons so you could keep them in check. apart from the message I think my goal is to integrate the vulnerability of humans in the music, so that people listen to it and can identify with that. so they don't feel alone in their struggles, realising someone somewhere in the world shares the same feelings, struggles, hope .

Well thats a tough one. Its a rough reality musicians struggle to make a living. The music industry is dominated by money. Now everything is online you know. Most musicians struggle with a day job to be able to live thats why they can't focus their attention on making music. you see musicians deserve more for their music you know, for example on spotify musicians earn a minuscule amount of money for streaming while spotify makes millions on ads, something is wrong man its not fair, if your a musician u understand that writing a song requires sweat and blood. and i can go on and on, but musicians are passionate and tough like a Pheonix that rises from its ashes over and over, they'll survive and keep making art, and i hope the online platforms will thrive again so that musicians could make a living and keep making their art.
its a wonderful initiative that connects musicians , its the future.
well, if my gear goes kaput. when i can't buy the gear i need to be able to make music, that i don't have the money to buy a new PC that handles my heavy productions, thats personally. and also what frustrates me is that the art of listening to music is degrading due to the consumer mentality i mentioned earlier. Just sitting down with no screen and listening to what the music wants to tell you.
well I try as much as i can, but you know I am busy trying to keep my music alive so i can contribute to the scene in the future.
Aside from making good music they need to embrace the business side of it to be able to promote theirselves. which could be frustrating for some musicians because they spend that time well , not making music. But yeah nowadays being a musician requires some online marketing skills and knowledge
