This music is a mixture of different genres. Growing up in Indiana, believe it or not, there is a wide variety of music. The music scene is strong here. What I mean by that, is, almost every family you come in to contact with, has a musician in the mix. Lafayette is an international community, with Purdue University across the river, in the midwestern part of the state. We are in between Chicago and Indianapolis, so there are a lot of different cultures flowing in and out of the city. I don't like the idea, as an artist, of being labeled in any way, shape or form. My lyrics are meant to make the audience think. What you take from it, is strictly your perception. I know what they mean to me, but what is more important, is what they mean to you. With our mix of HipHop, Classical, R&B, Blues, Jazz, Metal, Rock, Reggae, just on this first album, and whatever else we decide to explore, we hope to make music that has something for everyone. -B.Dollar
