Music is something I can do to release no matter the emotion - and it has also given me many opportunities to get out of my comfort zone and meet great people I wouldn't have otherwise.
To have a self-sustaining career playing live in some way and also to maybe put a few albums out in the future.
People's attitudes about themselves and other people, meaning the negative ones. Sometimes when people hurt, they begin to view the world in a rotten way - I've been there before and come out on the other side. I guess that means I'd start with hope.
Oh man, my parents were in bands... Thats a hard one. I remember running in circles around the living room screaming songs from the Lion King? Also a lot of Fleetwood Mac and AC/DC. Go Your Own Way was one I remember hearing a lot.
Well I give up, hahah. I like too many genres, to be honest. Bands I've listened to the most, like had on CD on repeat.... Beatles, Doors, Led Zeppelin, LIfehouse, Lamb of God, Slipknot, Crystal Castles, Foo Fighters, T.I., Tori Amos... There are a lot more I'm not thinking of, I like a lot of songs, haha.
The feeling I get when I hold an instrument or sing. It's different than anything else. And the way I can turn emotions into something that is fun, even when they are more on the negative side.
Again, probably hope. And, that the human experience is felt by many so there is no need to feel alone. Maybe some wisdom, but I'm not that wizened yet.
Great! Not so great when I screw up, but hey - gotta practice.
Stop eating whatever genre you're trying to do and just write what you feel.
Honestly seems pretty neat!
I try to, by attending local shows and stuffs. More so now than ever.
Networking savvy, to be real.
