What is music to you? What does it give you?

A joyous art form from the heart & soul that brings us all together.

What is your music dream?

To share my stories in song to all that want to hear them.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

Changing the rules. Everyone would deserve and receive respect. The world would be filled with music and laughter. Crazy? Maybe. But it's MY fantasy.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

Daddy's Little Girl

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Fritz O'Hara, Frank Dimino, Meatloaf, Manti Blades, The Mommas and the Papas, Maura Sullivan, Too many to list.

What inspires you to make music?

My Heart

What is the message you want to send with your music?

That you don't have to be perfect to sing or write music. Let the feelings out; it's OK

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

I come alive.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

The reality is that you can be very talented and work like a dog but not earn enough money unless you are one of the super stars. It can get exhausting working a job and trying to make it in the business. There are only so many hours in a day. If I knew how to improve things, I would do it.

What do you think of Drooble?

This is brand new to me. I have to reserve my opinion. But I do enjoy listening to other people's songs.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

I think I have just an ordinary voice. I only had 4 piano lessons as a teenager. I feel inadequate in my ability to share the music that's inside of me.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

I try to support my favorites. Enjoy others as well. Love attending shows. Love mingling with musical friends and acquaintances. Love catching them on YouTube too.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Wow! If I knew that, I'd be in an enviable position. I think you need talent of course but you also need luck. I know so many awesome musicians who are still waiting for their big chance. Sites like this one are really helpful. But the Quality I find the most helpful is sticktoitiveness! Don't give up!

Share some awesome artists that we’ve never heard of.

Fritz O'Hara is my #1 favorite, of course. He also happens to be my son. He plays with many well known artists and is pretty much well known himself in Las Vegas . Nick Acker, in New York, is dynamic. Manti Blades is someone to watch. My cousin, Maura Sullivan is retired now but her song "Christmas Eve In Washington" is re-released in the D.C. area every Christmas season and all proceeds go to Charity.
