What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music gives me hope. Music is always there when I need help. If im having a rough day I know music has my back. If im having a good day I know music has my back. The thing that got me into creating music was my fascination for sounds. The feeling that certain sounds give people and some instruments carry emotion very well. Everything involving sound I love. Which is why I use my voice for a lot of my fill sounds and layering. The way I can tweak it and make it sound like anything I want is what keeps me going. Just how far can I push it.

What is your music dream?

I guess im living a majority of my dream already. I just want to be able to create and release music and have a following that allows me to do that all day everyday. I am a creator and I love creating, even outside of music. All my music videos are shot and edited by Me, My instagram pictures are all taken by me. When I can quit a regular job and create full time that's when Ill be living my dream.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

Thats a tough question, either slowly start putting a ban on gas fueled cars or ban the use of so many cows. The first one is a obvious choice so there is less car pollution, and obviously you can't do it overnight. Id probably give people a year to trade there car for an electric one. As for the cows, we just have too many. If more people cut beef from there diet(lets say from 5 days a week to 1-2 days) we wouldn't need as many, If more people switched to non dairy products we wouldn't need as many. the reason so many cows are a problem is the amount of methane they produce. Those bad boys be producing just about as much if not a little more than the cars! I hope you enjoyed that.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

either Mambo No. 5 or Billie Jean. Mambo No. 5 was me and my friends favorite song when we were like 5 and my mom loved Micheal and would always play him. (Which im super thankful for)

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Jon Bellion, Quinn XCII, Nipsey Hussle, Mac Miller, Linkin Park, really I like everything and listen to such a wide variety of music but these are mains.

What inspires you to make music?

Just always trying to better myself. Knowing I can do better or push the limit even further. Im inspired by life and what goes on around me. I pay attention to everything and soak everything in. I might write a song about a couple I saw arguing at the train station, anything can spark an emotion or a feeling that immediately makes me want to create.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

Positivity and Mental Health. I push it in almost all of my songs. I talk about conquering your issues and not stopping or giving up. One of my favorite lyrics that I wrote comes from my song Star and its "No matter how dark it gets the sun will come out again" that is my mantra for my music.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

Alive. Im super nervous before I go on, I usually got the jitters, but as soon as I step on stage and my music hits its like the switch in my brain is turned off. I fully feel the music and for that amount of time its actually the best feeling.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

Your reality is how you want it to be. My favorite artist Jon Bellion, barely anyone knows him, he can go out and be a normal human being. Except he's produced for Jason Derulo, Christina Aguilera. Written for Eminem and Rhianna. But he has enough money to live how he wants.

What do you think of Drooble?

so far so good I like how everything is setup

What frustrates you most as a musician?

My computer. 100% I got this Mac desktop and its fine 90% of the time but when I really get into creating I move fast and sometimes the computer quits on me and shuts logic down. Biggest vibe killer in the world. I will be upgrading it shortly but for right now that's my biggest frustration.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

yes, and by consistently keeping up to date with them and asking what they're working on and when new stuff is coming. Just by actually being genuine.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

You gotta be unique, as Im typing this which is May 23rd, 2019 Im noticing a trend of instruments making there comeback. I see more and more artist putting songs together with full piece bands and orchestras and choirs. It still has to be modern but I definitely think the use of more organic instruments is what is catching attention these days.

Share some awesome artists that we’ve never heard of.

Brand-Nu, Pearl Andersson, Stef Silva
