Music is a universal language that allows you to express your emotions in the purest form.

To write something meaningful and lasting and make this world a better place.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

My community. We need to work together to help one another fulfill our potential. We need to communicate better, ask for and accept help, and help those who need help in measured quantities to maintain balance and equity.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

Volare by Frankie Valle

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

The Beatles. Prince. Stevie Wonder. Elvis Costello.

What inspires you to make music?

Life and experiences.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

There is always hope. Live life to the fullest. There is always more than one way to look at things.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

IT depends. Sometimes it is exciting, but other times it is like I am alone. It feels natural to perform.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

Being that music is a business, a billion dollar business, I feel that commercial success requires compromise. To make money as a musician you must make sacrifices. Play the popular stuff, do the corporate gigs. There is so much music these days... the internet has flattened the playing field. The formulaic way of creating hits will cause stagnation eventually. Hopefully, someone will come along and cause a needed upheaval of the entire paradigm, like The Beatles did.

What do you think of Drooble?

What a great community! I have been part of several music-based social media platform since the beginning. This seems the safest and healthiest I've come across.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Time.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

Well, I attend open jams and songwriter open mikes. I purchase good music from other artists whenever possible. I look to collaborate with others.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

A working knowledge of social media. Passion to get their music heard. Focus on your goals. Live streaming. Developing a fan base, and maintaining that base through kindness and engagement. Being honest. Becoming prolific. Keeping the faith. Hard work.
