Hi, I'm Delta Bolt, I'm a bedroom producer. I produce mainly House and Funk music, and also a lot of very unique music that is hard to classify.
It's just entertainment to me. And it can often help you when you are down, when you hear a song you can relate to or one that makes you happy. But these days I am not often down or depressed, so right now it's just great entertainment to me. I enjoy hearing a great song that blows me away with it's quality.
I just want to be able to make a living off of music while still staying anonymouse. But that's probably too much to ask for.
Ending all wars and poverty (if possible)
I don't know. There are probably multiple of those.
I don't really have favorite artists and bands. A lot of people make good music. My favorite funkband at the moment is probably Atmosfear because their stuff is great. I really like their style. I can't really name any favorite artists from the other genres that I listen to, there are a lot of good artists and bands. I also can't say that Atmosfear is the best funk band ever, I just really like their stuff. There are bands out there that are just as good or even better, but I have been listening to Atmosfear's music a lot lately. Poolside also make really good Nu Disco music. I also like listening to their stuff.
It's just a hobby that I enjoy doing. And the fact that I can make it exactly how I want it to be is great. Sometimes when listening to music I think "I would do this different if it was my own song." or "This House track is a bit too repetitive. If only I could fix that." Sometimes the song is good for the most part but then there's this one element that I don't like... If it were my own song I could just change that. But really, I just make music for fun. It's a good hobby.
I don't really have a specific message. But my music often says something like this: "Enjoy life and stay positive." My music often sounds happy and joyful. Sometimes the name of the track is also related to that mood. My music is instrumental and I guess it's up to the listener to figure out what it could be about or could mean, like with abstract art. I never actually think of a specific message when making my tracks, I just try to make something that sounds good.
I have never performed live.
Musicians cannot make money as easily since people do not buy music anymore. They just stream via services like Spotify.
It's a great site that can possibly help me grow a fanbase.
It's hard to get heard. There is so much music out there and you need very good marketing if you want to get more listeners.
Not really.
Mostly good marketing tbh. Your music should sound good unless you want to have a lot of haters, but marketing seems to be more important.
