What is your music dream?

To share my music to the world without being in any sort of spotlight

I would start with changing myself to make the world a better place for others

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

All-time favourite is Paramore because of how versatile they and their music have been. Current favourites: Sun Rai, Maggie Rogers, Oh Wonder, Explosions in the Sky, The Civil Wars, Swell Season

What inspires you to make music?

Musicians—and their fresh ideas and musical material. Nothing inspires me to write more than my music school colleagues who constantly come up with amazing ideas I can use as inspiration.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

Freedom of self-expression

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

As an instrumentalist, it feels exhilarating. If I have to be singing front and centre, it’s absolutely horrifying.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

What could be improved is musicians’ attitudes towards other musicians. It’s so regressive if every event just turns into an ego-fest—the bottom line is we musicians should be the first ones to just sit back, support, and enjoy the music, not tear each other down with unhelpful criticism.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Knowing that there’s so much to learn but so little time !!!

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

Just beginning to, as I just moved! Simply going to random gigs helps

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Resilience and focus! (But what do I know, i haven’t got my music heard by a larger audience hahaha)
