What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music to me can be in multiple genres (e.g. pop, rock, house, Top 40, Latin, blues, soul, R&B, kirtan, etc). It just has to give me that soundtrack to my life feeling and sense of escapism.

What is your music dream?

My music dream is to be the highest paid, top performing music recording artist in the world.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

Myself.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

I'm a little tea pot.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Too many to list here but some of them are: Hector Lavoe, Fania All Stars, Celia Cruz, Pink Floyd, Metallica, Pearl Jam, Lady Gaga, Queen, Classic Rock, The Philly Sound, Nuyorican House, Patti LaBelle, The Roots, Jill Scott (and other Neo-Soul artists), Bob Marley, Beyonce, Rihanna, Shakira, Madonna, Sheila E., Millie Puente, Tina Turner, Debbie Allen, World Beat, AfroPop, Classical Music, Jazz Standards, etc.

What inspires you to make music?

I write for selfish reasons. My work is meant to be some sort of self-soothing therapy and mental health practice that achieves a beautiful state of being.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

I'm helping you find out what stirs your soul and shakes your booty so you can spend more time doing what truly brings you joy!

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

I usually feel like part of their experience of the venue. It's nice to connect with the audience but really I think that being a part of their experience is what I most often feel when I perform in front of an audience.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

Musicians have a hard, rough mountain to climb at the moment with the pandemic shifting the whole landscape right now. I think a lot of opportunities are going to open up for musicians who can "carpe diem" with charm and proper online etiquette.

What do you think of Drooble?

Not sure yet. Looks like a cool idea.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Trying to be a one-woman talent management team ... and visibility.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

Yes. I've done a range of things from work-trade to bookkeeping for free, setup/breakdown at events or parties, actually paying admission price, and promoting on social platforms, etc.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Money management skills
