Music is freedom to speak your truth and connect with other peoples on a visceral level.
To make music for the rest of my life as a career and to be known for my writing / compositions. To really write something that helps somebody through a tough time or make them feel less alone.

David Bowie, The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Joni Mitchell, Fiona Apple... too many to name.
I don't know.. It's just like the need for water. I'm drawn to it.
Each song I write has it's own unique message for the listener and the vocals for every song I record, I like to think of as another character with it's own unique thought-process and worldview.. but overall, the general message is, you're not alone.
It's like an out-of-body experience; lots of adrenaline, lots of nerves. It's a good way to crush the ego and lay it all out there, humbly.
I'd love to see a larger community of artists who are looking to collaborate in my area. Also, musicians getting paid is always cool, obviously. Art is integral to the lifeblood of any culture.
I have yet to see.. I'm waiting to be asked for credit card..
Not being heard. Or not being able to think of a chorus for a tune, haha.
I enjoy seeing live music and always tip my bartender and musicians. With COVID, there's not much of a scene. However, I'm pretty much a hermit anyway.
That's why I'm here. I can't pretend to know. But I think vision is crucial - creating music for the sake of creating, not dividends exclusively.
