Story

I aim at fitting the songs that I write in one genre or at least a group of similar genres, but my inner madness doesn't allow me to do that. I like everything from mainstream pop to death metal and I've played it all. My solo project tends to be somewhere in the fields of soft rock/pop rock, although, in some of my new songs, there's evidence of some prog :D I'm currently studying jazz singing at Saint Louis College of Music in Rome (and just how cool is that :D ) and I hope that I can constantly improve myself as a musician and as a person. Check out my stuff! Hope you guys like it. Send me links to your songs as well, I'm always open to some new underground music!

What is music to you? What does it give you?

Everything.

What is your music dream?

To make a difference for at least one person.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

I don't think I would change anything. The world is as it is for us to battle it, not to make it easy fo us.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

Judas Priest - Jugulator. Even though I've drifted away from metal, this is to this day, one of the most important songs in my music career. I knew I wanted to become a musician ever since I heard the opening riff of this track!

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Kurt Elling, Gregory Porter, Chet Baker, Anita O' day, Mel Torme, Cole Porter, Thelonious Monk, Snarky Puppy, Hiatus Kaiyote, Gojira, Deftones, Porcupine Tree, Steven Wilson, Odd Crew, Pantera, Lamb of God, Prince, Queens of the Stoneage, Muse, Simply Red, Billie Eilish, Shawn Mendes, BMTH, Earth, wind & fire, Jose James, Al Jarreau, Khanъ and many others.

What inspires you to make music?

It could be a smell, a sound, something I see, a memory, a dream, anything.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

I don't know if there's any message. I just love music.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

It's hard to describe.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

Musicians should be more active. There are too many musicians who don't think they should be working on their technique in order to succeed and too many who think working on technique is the most important thing.

What do you think of Drooble?

I think it's a great project. It started off slow, but it started expanding quite quickly in the last few months. I hope it becomes a global platform.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

The overall pessimism in most musicians.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

I do. I go to local gigs. Whenever I can, I buy band merch and I always share youtube videos, Spotify streams, etc.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Being clever.

Share some awesome artists that we’ve never heard of.

Perpetuum (Hungary), Filiah (Austria) A Trio (Italy)
