Adam Shoemaker

Story

Adam Shoemaker is a multi-instrumentalist and singer/songwriter who, since a very young age, has been playing music at various venues around the United States and in Europe. Heavily influenced by classic rock/pop (The Beatles, AC/DC, Oasis, Cheap Trick, etc.), this album of original songs Adam recorded with locally renowned musician/engineer, George Harris, at Panda Productions in Clearwater, Florida. Adam plays nearly all the instruments on this CD and sings everything, with the exception of one track which features well-known singer, Valerie Carter (James Taylor) on background vocals. In the past, Adam has worked for famed producer Jack Douglas (John Lennon, Aerosmith), for rock band Cheap Trick in the recording studio, and played rhythm guitar for Brian Johnson of AC/DC at a benefit concert in Sarasota, Florida. Adam also taped a live performance at Bob Weir’s TRI Studios in the San Francisco area to help with the promotion of his recently released self-titled album. In March 2016, Adam had a life-saving liver transplant at Ochsner Hospital in New Orleans and, in February 2019, a kidney transplant at the same location. Currently working on a new album with George Harris at Creative World Recording in Largo, Florida.
