Hi I'm Adam. I'm 23 years old and I've been playing Drums for 7 years. I currently play in Släck Alice. I have supported Phil Campbell (Motorhead) and his band Phil Campbell &The Bastard Sons, Played many gigs, Recorded High quality tracks in the studio, been published in Planet Rock Magazine, had Radio Play all over the world and current in Släck Alice endorsed by Vocalzone & Vintage Guitars
Music is everything. I have a song or band for every situation. Music is the only thing that is there for every situation and creating it means the world
Just to be in a gigging band. Making music is enough. I never thought I'd be endorsed or in Planet Rock Magazine
People to stop being so offended by minor things
Sad But True by Metallica was the song that turned me to music and playing it
Metallica are the all time favourites. Also Iron Maiden, Sabbath, Guns n Roses to name a few
Any big bluesy riffs
That any situation can feel good if you push through
Completely zoned out. I love every second but I forget an audience is there unless I hear them singing along or cheer at the end of a song.
Theres not much communication on the local scene nowdays. Lots of people calling themselves promoters and supporters who dont do anything for the scene. What needs to change is people should pay the small price to see a local band often times more intimate shows are an awesome experience
Its a great concept and idea. But it really needs refinement
The same as everything you do theres people who tell you thats you cant do something or that they know everything. Im a big believer that you never stop learning music the 'know it all' people get me most frustraited. And the lack of local music venues. That sucks
Massively theres nothing more important. I personally show up to as many shows as I can and talk to bands. I support any deserving band and I gig some pointers where I can and I share their pages with other people
Gotta be hard working and professional. You gotta put loads of work into everything you need as a band and you gotta be nice and professional when your at gigs or appearing somewhere. But you also have to promote yourself. No promoters are gonna promote you for free. You need to learn your audience and give what they want and then go get what you want
Overseer are an awesome local band from Coventry they've only been together a year but watch out for them. Another band on the rise is Aramantus go check them out
