At the age of 16, Conner Fennell released his first single "What You've Forgotten" on May 1, 2020. A common theme in his music is the struggle with his sinful nature and asking God for help. Before releasing his first single, he chose the name "3 Tenses" as a constant reminder of his mortality. "Every one of your decisions has been and will be made in the present," he says, "Life flies by and there may be less future than you anticipate. Would you rather look back in regret or in fulfillment?" He continues to write, sing, produce, and mix his own music.
I create music because I want to find something new. I enjoy mixing genres together and creating something new. I create what I like, not necessarily what gets attention. I seek to help others with my music and to glorify God.
